Hi! I'm Loom, and I spend most of my time drawing. I'm a graphic arts student, and my hobby is making comics. Below is a link to my first practice comic, if you've a taste for a parody of the vampirical kind. I also have an under-construction website.





The story follows Jude, a vampire hunter with questionable methods. The bulk of the story is humor and a lighthearted show of poking fun at the vampire genre, but the heart of the story questions the morality of such hunting. Are all vampires criminals? Do some go about their daily lives like the rest of us, holding steady jobs and mingling with society without bloodshed? Is killing them no different than murder? Will Jude continue on as he always has as a pawn of the Church, or can he settle into the quiet life of a writer?

Hi everyone!

My dad had surgery and I've been staying with him to make sure he doesn't get dizzy and careen over the side of his bed in dizziness. In the downtime, I did homework, agonized over a dumb teacher, and sketched a quick Anthony pic for my comic to thank the fans for "400+." I took a nap, too. I've been SO tired this week for some reason, so I've not been all that productive, but I swear my brain still runs a million miles an hour even when my hands can't keep up. SO I have lots of good ideas for drawings and even some fanarts for my favorite webcomics. Stay tuned!

Here we go:

1) I have the strangest tick...I hiss, growl, and make generally unkind noises at people sometimes without realizing it. It's kind of embarrassing at times and I generally laugh it off.

2) I have a mean manner of speaking, but my laugh is often confused with that cute doe from Bambi name Feline. My laugh is like a faerie. My voice is dead and monotone sometimes. What a difference!

3) I ran around naked as a child and refused to comb my hair. I scared my mom's friends.

4) I love Animal Planet, and have watched animal shows all my life. To this day, I spout random facts I've learned and collected, prompting people to tilt their heads and gape at me.

5) When I was ten, I refused to wear deodorant and told my mom that since "the Indians didn't wear deodorant, I wouldn't either." Mom eventually won that argument.

6) My uncle is a professional comic artist in Atlanta, GA. They're shooting a movie next January based on something he drew (RED), so he's finally not going to starve!

7) I look like my mom so much that I'm often mistaken for her. My dog even got confused one day 'cause we were dressed alike. She sat there whipping her head from side to side in a panic.

8) I'm afraid of heights and I hate pizza.

9) I've had my teeth knocked in by a stray grounder on a rock-hard field. They still hurt sometimes.
10) I was a fast-pitch softball pitcher and a shortstop. I hit quite a few over-the-fence homeruns in my day. XD
