for when you're inking or pencilling in, I noticed you didn't really pencil in bottom panel at #2, but in #3 it's all inked in, I can assume that you ink by hand while shading, and do halftones on computer?

No, it got penciled. I just didn't have a scan of it at the time this was made. :D This tut was pieced together through documents I already had. Yes, I ink (and ink effects) by hand and do halftones on computer. Sometimes I used real scrapeaway tones for special effects, when needed.

Thanks for uploading stuff like this! It's really informative and neat to see your process. I love seeing tech pages like this. They are lovely to look at it, I like seeing the clearly laid out process, and they really benefit the art community!

Well, you're welcome; I am glad someone enjoys them! Sometimes, I take scans of stuff in case I mess up, so lining them up like this seems like a pretty cool use for those scans. :D
